Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated In-Home Behavior Technician to join our team full-time. This role involves working directly with children with autism and other developmental disabilities in their homes to implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
Responsibilities :
- Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in the client’s home setting
- Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist in the development and modification of treatment goals
- Collaborate with the supervisory team and caregivers to ensure client success
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of care
Qualifications & Skills :
The ideal candidate should possess the following :
Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilitiesKnowledge of behavior management techniquesUnderstanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principlesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively with families and caregivers in a home-based environmentReliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Livonia, MI areaBackground in social work, special education, behavioral health, or patient care is a plusAbility to work saturdaysRequirements :
