Our Medical Assistants perform a variety of duties, both clerical and assisting in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a licensed medical and or licensed nursing professional. A Day in the Life of a Medical Assistant may look like this :

• Obtain and document patient history, patient communication, and clinical treatment accurately and appropriately
• Obtain and measure vital signs and document information on patients' charts
• and maintain examination / treatment rooms, including cleaning and sterilizing instruments, and keeping inventory of medical supplies and materials
• Perform routine diagnostic and laboratory tests
• And administer medications as ordered by licensed medical and / or licensed nursing staff
• Explain treatment procedures to patients under the direction of licensed medical and / or licensed nursing staff
