Descripción del trabajoFamiliarity with medical terminology and medical billing in an optometric setting Experience using electronic health records (specifically MaximEyes) Working knowledge of optics Schedule and confirm appointments; maintain schedule Answer all incoming phone calls, check voicemails and respond accordingly Contact patients for glasses and contacts pick-ups Verify insurance eligibility, both medical and vision Respond to emails and maintain online reputation sites Pre-testing patients with state-of-the-art equipment and preparing charts for the doctor One year experience in a medical or optometric setting High school graduate, some college preferred, certificate or degree

Our office is looking for a friendly, hardworking, enthusiastic new member to our team! We are a busy optometric practice in a great location in Silverlake / Los Feliz area. Experience in an optometric or medical setting is required. All staff are cross-trained and there is potential to grow.
