Registered Nurse - Digestive Health

Position Summary : Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Digestive Health. Your work will reflect the mission, philosophy, and goals of our organization, emphasizing respect and consideration for all staff, physicians, patients, and their families.\n\nRequirements\n\nMinimum Qualifications : \n\nEducation : Must be a graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.\n\nCertification / Licenses : A current RN license in New Mexico or a compact state is required. You must possess BLS certification or obtain it within 2 weeks of your hire date. Additional required certifications must be acquired within 6 months of hire. If you have the necessary certifications upon hiring, you will be expected to maintain them without a grace period for renewal.\n\nSkills : \n

• Comprehensive knowledge and skills relevant to the patient population served.\n
• Awareness and sensitivity to the rights of patients in care delivery.\n
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient.\n\nExperience : \n\nNature of Supervision : \n\nResponsible to : Patient Care Director or Manager\n\nEnvironment : \n
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens (categories C and B), as well as infectious diseases and x-rays.\n\nYou will work in a clean, well-lit, and ventilated smoke-free environment, which may present stressful professional relationships. Work hours will be varied and require flexibility to accommodate unexpected schedule changes and emergencies.\n\nPhysical Requirements : You must be capable of handling emergency situations and endure prolonged periods of standing and walking. Heavy physical effort is necessary to position, push, or transfer patients or equipment. This role requires frequent reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching. Good visual acuity and hearing within normal or correctable limits are important, along with manual dexterity and fine motor coordination.
