Laboratory Director Position

Seattle Sperm Bank dba Denver Sperm Bank seeks Laboratory Director in Denver, CO. Responsible for lab management, client, clinic, and provider relations, new methods and protocol development, and compliance. Laboratory management : Train employees, perform supplies ordering and quality check, supervise and update, if necessary, sample processing, increase efficiency of the laboratory, maintain the quality of samples produced. Clients / clinics / providers relations : Interact with all the consumers / partners that utilize directly or indirectly Company services, including conferences, exhibitions, scientific reports, provide production sales to the ex-USSR and other international markets. New methods / protocols development : Update and creation of new SOPs, performing experiments to ensure / increase sample quality, developing and implementation of the new methods into routine practice Compliance : Ensure the compliance of the work with FDA, CLIA, DoH, WHO etc regulations, review and maintain quality of the donor documentation as a Medical Director Travel : 20% domestic travel required to set up the laboratory work, train employees, implementing new methods, quality checks Job Requirements : Must possess a Master's Degree, or foreign equivalent in Management, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related biological life sciences field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related role. Must possess 1 year of experience with providing training for employees and with all sperm processing processes. Must possess experience with working with sperm bank donors, clients and clinics to provide improvements. Salary : $120,682
