Job Description Summary
:Provides competent and age-specific services for transporting patients between patient rooms, ancillary departments, and other areas within Jackson Madison County General Hospital. They will provide other assigned procedures under the supervision of the department management and licensed personnel while maintaining productivity standards and occupational growth. This position is under the direction of the Manager and Supervisor of Patient Transportation, the Transport Tech is responsible for, but not limited to, the transports of inpatients and outpatients between hospital departments. The employee will be involved in direct and indirect patient care, including patient transfers, patient lifts, and other tasks that promote quality patient satisfaction. The employee is subject to call back and overtime as required by the hospital.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
