ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Clinton, Maryland.

Job Details :

  • Work 12-hour day shifts with 48 hours per week
  • Maintain 1 : 4 patient ratio across all shifts
  • 2 years of experience required with at least 1 prior travel assignment
  • Must have worked in an ED setting with at least 125 visits per day within the past 8 months
  • Charge experience preferred as candidates will be required to orient and work charge
  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
  • Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
  • Required skills : Triage, IV starts, phlebotomy
  • Preferred skills : Cerner experience
  • Must have expert prioritization and organizational skills to manage fast ER pace
  • Care for patients of all age groups : neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • Work with daily census of 130 patients and 130 visits per day
  • 40-room emergency department with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
  • Purple scrubs required (not provided)
  • Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
  • Weekend coverage required
  • Must have compact license or Maryland license
