Sales Associate

Position Summary:

The selling floor associate performs all merchandising tasks designed to make merchandise appealing to the customer. The selling floor associate also greets and assists customers to provide excellent customer service.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Merchandise replenishment and presentation
• Monitoring the fitting room
• Ticketing and in-store signing
• Keeping the store clean, well-stocked and clutter free
• Ringing a cash register and bagging when required.

Position Requirements:

• Ability to work varied hours/days, including 2-3 nights per week, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
• The ability to work in different areas of the store such as selling floor, fitting room, and receiving as directed by supervisors and management.
• Ability to communicate effectively as it relates to communicating to customers and team members all Forman Mills written policy and procedures, training materials, directives and any other materials Forman Mills produces.
• Physical requirements include lift up to 50 lbs. Use of hands and fingers in a continuous and repetitive activity. Adequate fitness level to meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and repetitive lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience: Cashier experience preferred but not required
• Job Related Skills: Math, ability to count money and give accurate change
• Ability to handle different customer's personalities in a professional manner
• High Energy, Positive attitude, Friendly, Courteous
• Excellent People Skills
• Computer Skills: POS Software and Equipment, Kronos (Time and Attendance), Calculator
