Summary :
The Systems Engineer II will be responsible for installing and configuring systems, ensuring infrastructure availability, collaborating with IT staff, and identifying opportunities to enhance system efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Engaging in quality control procedures to ensure that systems are efficient and operational
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Performing system backups and recovery
- Creating and maintaining system documentation for reference purposes
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
- Performing system and software updates to enhance performance
- Manages security posture by using Microsoft Defender for Cloud
- Manage and organize a project's timeline to ensure tasks are done in the proper order.
- Manage service and incident request within defined SLA's
Positional Requirements & Qualifications :
Education & Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Engineer.Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent years of experience in addition to the above requirementAdvanced experience with VMWare, Azure, & AWS. IaaS / PaaS / SaaSSkills & Abilities
Real-world network and Data Center Network Operations experienceOutstanding ability to perform logical problem solving in high pressure situationsGeneral knowledge of various Linux operating systemsOrganizes projects to ensure tasking and assignments are completed according to deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsSolid understanding of change management concepts and practicesEfficient in CoPilot & PowerBI to strengthen IT department AI strategyAzure or VMWare CertificationEffective communication with explaining complex ideas to stakeholdersOrganization and attention to detailTime ManagementEssential Physical Functions :
