We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Planner / Analyst to join our dynamic team and contribute to our growth and success.
Position Overview :
The Sales Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting sales data to support our sales strategies and objectives. This role involves a deep understanding of sales metrics, market trends, and consumer behavior. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate findings effectively, while working independently and managing multiple assignments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Data Analysis : Gather, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. Provide actionable insights to enhance sales performance.
- Reporting : Prepare and present regular sales reports and dashboards for management and sales teams. Highlight key metrics, variances, and trends.
- Forecasting : Assist in developing sales forecasts based on historical data, market analysis, and business goals. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align forecasts with strategic plans.
- Market Research : Conduct market research to understand consumer behavior, market conditions, and competitive landscape. Provide insights to support sales strategies.
- Performance Monitoring : Monitor sales performance against targets and KPIs. Identify areas of improvement and recommend corrective actions.
- Promotional Analysis : Evaluate the effectiveness of sales promotions and marketing campaigns. Provide insights to optimize future promotional activities.
- Create sales promotions and input into customer portals.
- Data Management : Ensure accuracy and integrity of sales data. Maintain and update sales databases and systems as required.
- Collaboration : Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to support cross-functional initiatives and ensure cohesive execution of sales plans.
- Other tasks and assignments as they arise.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field preferred.1-3 years of experience in sales analysis, business analysis, or a related role, preferably within the CPG industry.Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.Working knowledge of syndicated data, ie, Circana / IRI and / or Nielsen.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems is a plus.Travel from time to time.Benefits :
