Responsibilities Work in the Pediatric Acute Care Float Pool, floating to PICU, NICU, pediatric med-surg, pediatric ED boarders, and postpartum / mother-baby units Night shift position (3x12 hour shifts, 19 : 00–07 : 00) Assignment length is 13 weeks Schedule includes every other weekend and two out of three winter holidays Epic EMR is used and Epic experience is required Role includes floating to various pediatric units based on facility needs within scope of practice Must adhere to facility’s float policy Orientation includes up to 16 hours of non-billable online modules A maximum of 40 hours time off may be requested during contract Return staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 12 months for eligibility No radius restriction for this assignment First-time travelers considered Requirements Active VA or compact RN license is required (pending license accepted if in hand by Wednesday before start date) Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required Experience in both PICU and NICU settings required Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification required (can submit pending; candidate must obtain) Experience with Epic EMR required References required at time of consideration BSN preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-628449.
