Sales Executive – Global B2B Titles for a C Suite Audience

Newsdesk Media is a global media services organisation with offices in the UK, Beijing, and Washington. We specialise in producing high-calibre publications for prestigious public and private sector organisations worldwide.

Established in 1997, the company collaborates with governments, organisations, and corporate clients to develop top-quality publications for prestigious events such as the G7 and G20 summits, as well as investment titles for leading governments including the UAE, Kazakhstan, and China.

Due to acquiring new prestigious contracts, we have a vacancy for a sales executive.

This role offers excellent opportunities for progression and a rewarding career in magazine publishing. The role involves selling display advertising to a senior audience, making it ideal for those seeking a serious career in media sales.

Successful candidates will be able to work to deadlines and keep pace in a busy sales environment. Additional language skills, preferably Russian or Chinese, and an understanding of B2B sales are advantageous.

You should be comfortable making effective cold sales calls, establishing and maintaining client contacts across all market sectors, and building relationships with advertisers and agencies to generate new revenue. There is also an opportunity for face-to-face selling.

To maximise our excellent training, you need to be eager to learn, confident, and able to apply your existing and new skills immediately. Good listening skills are essential to understand clients' needs. We believe in quality consultative selling over scripted calls. Although self-motivated, you should be a team player, always looking for cross-selling opportunities across our titles. This role is challenging but highly rewarding, with some sales executives earning £70k+.

We offer a competitive basic salary, a highly attractive commission package, a personal training plan, and 25 days of holiday. Our modern offices are located in Camden, near Warren St, Euston, and Great Portland St stations. We have numerous titles and promote from within. Our company culture is friendly, informal, and creative, with a focus on high-quality work.
