Specialist, Continuous Improvement

THE ROLE

We are seeking a new Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive meaningful changes by leading meaningful and transformative continuous Improvement

initiatives for the Chaska, MN site. This new hire will report into the Continuous Improvement Manager, and will be based onsite in Chaska, MN.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Process Analysis & Improvement : Lead process assessments and process mapping, using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen . Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and root causes, and develop actionable recommendations that drive measurable improvements in efficiency , quality, and cost reduction.

Lead Projects : Manage multiple operational excellence projects simultaneously, coordinating cross-functional teams and resources. Develop project charters, define deliverables, manage timelines, and ensure execution aligns with strategic objectives.

Engage with Stakeholders : Build strong relationships with site leaders and front-line employees to understand business needs, secure buy-in, and drive change adoption.

Manage Change : Partner with Site leadership to design and implement change management strategies, communication plans, and training programs to facilitate seamless transitions and maximize adoption.

Make Data-Driven Decisions : Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to inform recommendations and measure project impact. Present findings and insights to diverse audiences through compelling presentations and reports.

Coach and Build Capabilities : Mentor and train manufacturing teams in operational excellence tools, methodologies, and mindsets, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and self-sufficiency.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting : Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring sustained results and identifying further improvement opportunities.

WHAT WE SEEK

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or other related Engineering / Sciences degree , Operations, Supply Chain

Experience in an internship or Co-Op in the manufacturing industry preferred

Lean manufacturing and operations exposure; the ideal candidate will have a green belt

Proven ability to drive change in a matrixed environment

Ability to successfully motivate and maintain employee involvement while driving change

Strong financial acumen

Someone with experience in program management and cross-functional leaders

The ability to work o n -site Monday-Friday

The ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Compensation : $70,500.00- $88,000.00 per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
