Overview
TSMC is looking for managers in the following modules : CMP, CVD, Diffusion, Epitaxy, Etch (Dry), Etch (Wet), Lithography, Metrology, and PVD. This position is on-site at our Phoenix, AZ Fab21 : 5088 W Innovation Cir. Phoenix, AZ. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States. The role may require training both in Arizona and overseas in Taiwan for a short period of time.
Weekend on-duty and phone availability during off-work hours are requirements for all Module Managers.
Responsibilities
- Chemical Mechanical Polishing (CMP), Senior Engineering Manager : Module process and equipment fundamental improvements; collaborate with Process Integration, Manufacturing, Yield improvement, and Cross-Module teams to sustain high-quality wafer production and delivery.
- Diffusion Engineering Manager : Elevate engineering and manufacturing excellence in the Diffusion department; module process and equipment improvements; identify opportunities for wafer quality and productivity improvements; collaborate with Process Integration, Manufacturing, Yield improvement, and Cross-Module teams; proactively identify and develop team members with a deliberate road map.
- Dry Etch Equipment Manager : Fingerprint all ETC tools with the mother Fab ETC team to ensure seamless technology transfers; set up and maintain new production lines; plan resources, prioritize tasks, and manage cross-functional activities to move-in, install and qualify tools.
- Wet Etch & Clean Manager : Fingerprint WET processes / tools for seamless technology transfers; plan resources, prioritize tasks, and work in cross-functional teams to move-in, install and qualify tools / processes; monitor process / equipment performance; establish controls to maintain wafer output; implement SOPs and drive process / equipment optimization.
- Lithography EUV Process Manager : Ensure production line operates 7x24 with quality standards; hire / manage engineers and technicians; ensure EUV / DUV photomask quality (defectivity and pattern performance); develop and implement process improvements to increase yield and reduce costs; collaborate with equipment suppliers for performance.
- Lithography EUV Hardware Manager - Scanner : Ensure EUV Scanner operates 7x24 at peak performance; hire / manage engineers / technicians; integrate EUV scanner into manufacturing; manage budgets and resources; drive continuous improvement with tool vendors.
- Metrology : Accountable for instrumentation / calibrations and metrology services; lead metrology activities per production schedule and compliance; ensure calibration programs meet regulatory requirements (NIST, cGMP, FDA, OSHA, etc.); defects / yield matching with the mother fab; drive defect, yield, and productivity improvements during ramp and manufacturing.
- PVD Manager : Elevate engineering and manufacturing excellence in the Physical Vapor Deposition department; pursue wafer quality and productivity improvements; collaborate with Process Integration, Manufacturing, Yield improvement, and Cross-Module teams to sustain high-quality wafer production and delivery.
