Descripción del trabajoConduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication needs. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's requirements. Provide direct therapy services in individual, small group, and classroom settings. Address challenges related to articulation, fluency, voice, language comprehension and expression, and social communication. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development. Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and provide consultation as needed. Educate and support staff and parents on strategies to enhance communication skills. Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Indiana state license in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required. Work-Life Balance : Enjoy contracts up to 40 hours per week, unlike salaried positions, you would be paid time 1.5 for anything approved over 40 hours by your supervisor. Material Reimbursement : Reimbursement of $250.00 for any supplies purchased for your classroom Professional Development : We offer a reimbursement of $500.00 towards professional development this can include : CEU's, licensing fees, etc Medical, dental, and vision are offered Continued insurance coverage over the summer is optional for the employee. We are looking for a talented Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the school year.
- Grade Levels : Pre-K through 5th grade
- Caseload : Approximately 65–75 students
- Student Needs : Includes some AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) users
- Schedule : Monday–Friday, 7 : 30 AM – 3 : 30 PM
Hourly Rate Range : $48.00 - $65.00 per hour
