About the Role

The Senior Project Manager will take ownership of large or multiple K-12 projects, ensuring operational excellence across preconstruction, construction, and closeout. This individual will serve as both team leader and client liaison, driving project success while mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of project execution from early planning through warranty closeout
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and project financials to meet or exceed performance targets
  • Guide and mentor project managers and engineers, providing direction and support
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and community stakeholders
  • Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams to align project budgets and schedules before start-up
  • Review and approve major change orders, pay applications, and procurement packages
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures across all sites
  • Evaluate project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and drive continuous improvement
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive project management experience, including K-12 or institutional work in Texas
  • Proven ability to lead multi-project teams, manage large budgets, and deliver projects on time
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficient with project management software and cost tracking systems
