Position Objective
The Human Resources Manager - East Branches is responsible for managing all HR functions for multiple branch locations in the eastern US, ensuring consistent implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs. This role partners with branch managers and senior leadership to foster a positive workplace culture, ensure compliance with labor laws, and support talent management initiatives that align with the company's strategic goals. This key role also works collaboratively with corporate HR and other leaders on organizational HR projects, initiatives and support needs.
Key Accountabilities
Partner with branch managers to assess staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
Act as a trusted HR advisor to branch leaders and employees.
Identify training needs at each branch and coordinate skill-building programs.
Guide managers through goal-setting, performance appraisals, and coaching processes.
Ensure branches comply with individual state and federal labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
Maintain accurate HR records, including attendance, payroll inputs, and electronic personnel files via AAF's HRIS and payroll systems.
Requirements
This role requires regular travel to eastern branch locations and the flexibility to address HR issues across multiple time zones or shifts. Travel up to 50%.
