Descripción del trabajoBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering 5+years of practical design experience (transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design) IL PE License Knowledge of IDOT, CDOT, municipal and IL Tollway design / standards Good communication skills Proficient in MicroStation / OpenRoads required. Working knowledge of modeling with OpenRoads preferred Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D software preferred

Leading U.S. engineering consulting firm is seeking a Transportation Engineer for their Chicago office!
Responsibilities :
- Involvement in design process / project advancement (setting priorities / developing objectives)
- Use technical expertise to aid multi-discipline team
- Prepare highway / roadway and sewer plans, specifications, and estimates
- Responsible for project permitting
- Prepare project reports
- Mentor / train junior engineers
Requirements :
Salary is commensurate with experience.
