Water / Wastewater Project Engineer

As a Water / Wastewater Project Engineer I, you will plan, lead, and execute engineering designs for a variety of water and wastewater projects, including sewershed studies, rehabilitation, new sewer design, water distribution systems, treatment plants, and pump stations. You will work on challenging projects while supporting a collaborative team environment that values quality, innovation, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate water and wastewater design projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze project data, including survey reports, maps, blueprints, aerial imagery, and geologic / topographic information.
• Identify system performance deficiencies and develop solutions for collection, distribution, and treatment systems.
• Perform hydraulic and process design calculations for water, wastewater, and pump station projects.
• Prepare construction cost estimates, contract plans, specifications, and engineering reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide guidance to junior engineers.
• Participate in client meetings and support project coordination and documentation.
• Conduct quality reviews in accordance with the Project Management Plan.
