Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CADD Drafter with a minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering design. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and OpenRoads Designer , with a strong understanding of roadway, drainage, and utility design workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings and design layouts for transportation, site development, and infrastructure projects.
  • Develop plans, profiles, cross-sections, and construction details using AutoCAD and OpenRoads.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and consistency.
  • Review and update drawings to reflect design changes and project requirements.
  • Maintain CAD standards, templates, and project documentation.
  • Assist with quantity takeoffs, plan production, and file management.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with client, agency, and company standards.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of CADD drafting experience in a civil engineering or transportation design environment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and InRoads and / or OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
  • Strong understanding of civil infrastructure design principles , including grading, roadways, and drainage.
  • Ability to interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and redlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Associate degree or technical certification in drafting, design technology, or related field preferred.
