Summary

Holy Trinity, a leader in long-term care for over 20 years, is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our passionate rehabilitation team. Responsibilities

Implement patient care plans developed in collaboration with the Occupational Therapist (OTR) to help residents achieve their goals.

Assist residents with therapeutic activities to improve independence in daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, bathing, and grooming.

Guide residents through prescribed exercise programs and functional activities.

Train residents and caregivers on the use of adaptive equipment to improve safety and function.

Observe residents' progress, document therapy sessions accurately, and report findings to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, physical therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive resident care.

Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive therapy environment.

Required Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an accredited COTA program.

Current and valid COTA license in the state of Massachusetts.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with residents, families, and colleagues.

Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine passion for helping the senior population.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility (SNF).

Familiarity with documenting in electronic medical records (EMR).
