Sales Professional Opportunity

The Opportunity

This role isn't about maintaining accountsit's about expanding market share and driving new business. In this Outside Sales role, you'll own a multi-state region that includes : Northern Utah from north of SLC through Logan, Eastern Idaho includes Idaho Falls and Pocatello, portions of Montana including Bozeman and Missoula areas, and portions of Nevada including Las Vegas and Reno. We're seeking a strategic business developersomeone who can open doors, build trust, and close deals that strengthen both our market presence and our customer partnerships.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute a territory growth strategy that targets high-potential accounts across metals manufacturing, fabrication, and distribution.
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new customers, expanding our presence in key market segments.
  • Grow existing relationships by uncovering new needs, cross-selling value-added services, and deepening engagement.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive activity to inform pricing, product positioning, and account strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and quality to ensure flawless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Report performance metrics and strategic insights to leadership, highlighting progress, wins, and pipeline momentum.

  • Customer Acquisition & Retention : Building relationships that translate into measurable growth and recurring business.
  • Market Intelligence : Understanding metals pricing, trends, and competitor positioning.
  • Analytical Selling : Translating technical specifications into tangible ROI for customers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality to deliver customized solutions.
  • Resilience & Drive : Demonstrating persistence, adaptability, and ownership in achieving sales targets.
  • What You Bring

  • 3+ years of outside sales experience with measurable success in business growth.
  • Experience with tubing, pipe, bar, or value-added metal services strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with margin-management experience.
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and advanced MS Office skills.
  • Willingness to travel 70+% across the assigned region.
