• Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM), 3 shifts / week\n
• Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week\n
• Unit Size : 27 beds (expanding to 37 beds)\n
• Nurse : Patient Ratio : 1 : 4\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1680-$1800\n
• Charting System : Epic EMR\n
• Scrub Color : Any (clean, professional attire)\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Idaho or compact state\n
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry nursing experience\n
• Current certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS\n
• Proficient in cardiac drips, post-cath recovery, and chest tube management\n
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips; document every 6 hours\n
• Willingness to float to similar units and Med / Surg as needed (including nearby healthcare facilities)\n
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the Meridian facility\nTelemetry RN Responsibilities\n
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with cardiac, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, renal, and respiratory conditions\n
• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips, documenting findings regularly\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including respiratory therapists and nurse aides\n
• Manage set-rate cardiac drips (e.g., diltiazem, amiodarone) and care for post-cath lab patients\n
• Perform NIH stroke assessments and assist with post-cath recovery and chest tube care\n
• Float to similar units or nearby healthcare facilities as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability\n
