Administrative Assistant
Addison Group is partnering with a professional services firm in Washington, DC seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant. The firm values organization, proactivity, and professionalism, offering a fast-paced environment where this role will directly support upper management and day-to-day operations.
The Administrative Assistant will manage daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations and effective support for the team. This includes maintaining files, scheduling meetings, handling communications, coordinating travel, processing expense reports, and assisting with general office administration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and addressing inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Maintaining and updating calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing meeting rooms.
- Performing clerical tasks including filing paperwork, scheduling appointments, and sorting mail.
- Producing and distributing memos, letters, and other correspondence.
- Booking travel arrangements and organizing conferences or conference calls.
- Submitting and reconciling expense reports, monitoring invoices, and approving expenditures.
- Ordering office supplies and managing inventory.
- Assisting in creating presentations and responding to information requests.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in administrative support, data entry, and assisting upper management in a fast-paced, professional office environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Dependable, proactive, organized, and professional.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but relevant experience will be considered.
