LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE IV CERT

Position Summary :

Under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN), the licensed practical nurse (LPN) provides safe, efficient patient care to assigned patients. Performs as a positive member of the healthcare team.

• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education

Graduate of a school of nursing / licensed practical nursing program

• Minimum Experience

Hospital experience within the past 5 years preferred

• Required Registration / License / Certification

Current Kansas LPN licensure

• Intravenous (IV) certification
• Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR / AED for the Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully completed within the first 90 days of employment.
