Gastroenterologist – Loyola Medicine at

MacNeal

Loyola Medicine at MacNeal Hospital invites

applications for a full-time clinical practice gastroenterologist.

MacNeal is a community-based hospital located in Berwyn, IL. The

ideal candidate should have exceptional skills in general

gastroenterology, ideally with a clinical focus in the management

of common upper and lower gastrointestinal conditions.

Interventional skills including endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and

endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) are preferred

but not required. The candidate should be Board Eligible / Board

Certified in Gastroenterology and possess an Illinois license at

the time of appointment. The successful candidate will be at the

rank of Assistant Professor and will be joining a busy

community-based practice providing inpatient and outpatient care.

hospital in Melrose Park that includes the Judd A. Weinberg

Emergency Department, the Loyola Center for Metabolic Surgery and

Bariatric Care, Loyola Cancer Care & Research at the Marjorie

G. Weinberg Cancer Center, acute rehabilitation, a transitional

care center, childcare center and fitness center. Founded in 1919,

MacNeal Hospital is a 374-licensed-bed teaching hospital in Berwyn

with advanced medical, surgical and psychiatric services and a

68-bed behavioral health program.
