The 911 Engineer is responsible for general service, system emergencies, and customer service across all regions of the Navy 911 RMS system. Plans, designs, and evaluates new and existing computer network systems and services, including local area networks, wide area networks, intranets, and the Internet, providing analytical, technical, and administrative support.

Job Duties / Responsibilities : The 911 Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of the Navy's 911 emergency response systems. This position demands a high level of technical proficiency and the ability to manage complex projects under stringent timelines.

Summary Of Essential Job Functions

Responsibilities include providing subject matter expertise and oversight for the installation and maintenance of Navy 911 systems.

General Maintenance :

• Performs and supervises general maintenance of 911 equipment and circuits.
• Responsible for providing Subject Matter Expertise to the Navy 911 Service Manager for any system emergencies that may arise.
