Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist experienced in PET and general nuclear medicine for a day shift position with rotation weeks of on-call duty.
Responsibilities
Work in a hospital nuclear medicine department with a focus on general nuclear medicine (no cardiac cases)Must be competent in PET and nuclear medicine proceduresEquipment includes Siemens PET CT and Siemens and Phillips nuclear medicine camerasDay shift schedule : 5x8 hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PMRotation weeks of on-call for emergency cases are requiredTravelers are expected to float to like units within their scope as neededUses EPIC charting system; experience preferredScrub color is royal blue or khakiMust participate in on-call rotation for emergency casesTravelers receive a brief unit orientationModules for orientation are completed onsite and recorded via transcriptsNo local candidates accepted who reside within 75 milesFormer perm staff must wait one year before returning as a travelerNo travel pairs or groups acceptedA maximum of 3 days of RTO will be auto approvedRequirements
NMTCB and PET certifications requiredNo minimum experience required; first-time travelers are welcomeValid Allied license required if applicableMust be able to work with Siemens and Phillips imaging equipmentRTO must be requested at time of consideration; no RTO approved for the first week of orientationBenefits
