Business Development Representative III

As Business Development Representative III, you will support deal development and development of sophisticated economic analysis of commercial opportunities. You will also collaborate to build new contracts and solutions that benefit Williams and our customers. The ability to cultivate and nurture a network across functions, apply expertise in ways that are unique or innovative and influence others to gain support and dedication are keys to success! Responsibilities / Expectations :

  • Conducts market and customer analysis to identify potential greenfield business opportunities; analyzes and validates by generating new leads and prospects
  • Collaborates with internal business partners on proposals to acquire feedback and ensure alignment with proposed contract terms
  • Develops opinions and recommendations on basin, customer and competitor intelligence utilizing third party tools and publications
  • Develops strong and enduring high-level customer relationships
  • May mentor others
  • Participates in tradeshows / exhibits to promote Williams brand and services
  • Communicates with investment banks to understand and evaluate potential transactions; assists with merger and acquisition processes
  • Supports closure of opportunities that meet financial hurdles and strategic fit
  • Anticipates and meets customer needs
  • Other duties as assigned

Education / Years of Experience :

  • Required : Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field and minimum of five (5) years' related experience
  • Preferred : MBA
  • Other Requirements :

  • Demonstrates excellent organizational / interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Needs proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
  • Previous experience in the energy industry
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of commercial aspects of the energy industry
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of energy market fundamentals and economics including commodity pricing, basin market fundamentals and competitor strategies and actions
  • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
