Member Advocate / Member Services / CSR with 2+ yrs Health Insurance exp, CSR– Fast-growing healthcare provider seeks multiple Member Services Advocate with experience in healthcare or health insurance to assist members at their offices in Des Moines, IA.

This is a full-time temporary-to-hire opportunity where you will earn up to $18.00 per hour based on your experience. You will work daytime hours Monday - Friday 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm. This class will begin in November.

Some of your responsibilities as a Member Advocate include :

• Building strong professional relationships internally and externally
• 12 – 15 incoming and outbound calls daily
• Accessing a provider
• Scheduling procedures / appointments
• Interpreting invoices received from medical providers
• Documenting required information into database
• Assisting and educating providers on the client benefit plans
• Problem solving in real time or through timely follow up with the member
• Meeting performance goals in the areas of efficiency, call quality, provider satisfaction, and attendance
• Understanding of products and the multiple levels of benefits within each product
