Feed Mill Manager / Plant Manager

Role Overview :
The ideal candidate will take ownership of day-to-day operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and operational excellence. This is a leadership role requiring a practical, experienced professional with a strong safety mindset and the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and manage production operations to meet established targets.
Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs.
Collaborate on facility upgrades and new equipment integration.
Support ongoing and future expansion projects.
Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Provide leadership and mentorship to a multicultural workforce.
Work autonomously with a focus on results, balancing hands-on involvement with efficient delegation.
Preferred Experience :
Extensive hands-on experience in production or manufacturing environments, ideally with pellet or feed production.
Proven track record in managing plant operations, maintenance programs, and safety protocols.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage and grow a team.
Bilingual skills are an asset but not required.
Background in working with industrial machinery and production equipment such as boilers, steam flakers, cyclones, coolers, and grinders.
