About Willed by Wellness

Willed by Wellness Counseling and Consulting, LLC, founded in 2021 by Dr. Courtney Williams, is rooted in the mission of helping Black girls and women “own their magic.” Through mental health services and wellness resources, Willed by Wellness provides one on one and group centric care to folx in the state of Tennessee and nationwide. Black women and girls are one of the most underrepresented and underserved populations in our community. Willed by Wellness provides culturally responsive care to her community and helps other professionals do the same. Through the consulting arm of Willed by Wellness ,we work closely with organizations and teams to adapt their services, resources and curriculum to better serve Black communities.Willed by Wellness is looking to grow the team to broaden the reach across Tennessee and nationwide. Willed by Wellness is an anti-racist, gender affirming practice, welcoming all female identifying persons of the African diaspora.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Clinician to join our team. This role involves providing

high-quality individual and group therapy, handling crisis interventions, and contributing to the

growth and development of our practice. The ideal candidate will be experienced in working with

diverse populations, particularly within the Black community, and will demonstrate a strong

commitment to cultural humility and responsiveness in mental health care.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Services

  • Deliver individual and group counseling and psychotherapy to clients, including crisis intervention and emergency psychological support.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the needs of Black women and girls, and BIPOC communities.
  • Provide culturally-responsive and strength-based therapeutic interventions.

Supervision & Training

  • Offer clinical supervision and guidance to unlicensed trainees and interns, ensuring adherence to professional standards and ethical practices.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Community Engagement

  • Collaborate with community stakeholders and organizations to promote mental health awareness and support.
  • Contribute to outreach initiatives and educational programs that align with the mission of Willed by Wellness.
  • Engage in activities that foster a supportive and inclusive environment for clients and staff.
  • Administrative Duties

  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development and improvement.
  • Qualifications

    For Licensed Clinicians :

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field of study from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a psychologist, licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed professional counselor (LPC), or licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) in your state of residence.
  • Experience providing therapy in clinical settings and via telehealth platforms
  • Skilled in working with diverse, marginalized, and underrepresented populations
  • Demonstrated expertise in providing culturally-responsive therapy and understanding the unique mental health needs of Black women and girls, and BIPOC communities.
  • Commitment to understanding and demonstrating lifelong learning and growth in areas related to Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (EDIB) concerns.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a remote or hybrid work environment.
  • Prior involvement in community outreach or advocacy related to mental health.
  • Knowledge of intersectional approaches to mental health care.
  • Experience, training, and a desire to serve QTBIPOC individuals, and couples.
  • Specialized training in child / adolescent mental health; trauma-informed approaches; couples therapy

    Compensation & Growth

    We believe great work deserves to be valued. Our clinicians are compensated through a commission-based split that rewards consistency, clinical excellence, and commitment to our mission.

  • Private Pay Clients : Starting at a 60 / 40 split (clinician / WBW), with opportunities to advance to 65 / 35 and 70 / 30 as your caseload and tenure grow.
  • EAP Sessions (LERA) : Paid at a flat rate per session.that varies by license type and platform reimbursement
  • Workshops & Groups : Additional pay opportunities through co-facilitation of WBW workshops, panels, and wellness events.
  • We design our structure to encourage sustainability and prevent burnout. Most clinicians maintain 15 - 20 clients per week, with flexibility for telehealth or hybrid work.
