Principal Accountabilities
The principal job duties of a technician are all related to food safety and quality. Duties may include but are not limited
Champion of personal safety and food safetyComplete pre-operation and work alongside USDAMonitoring of products with fat analysis, shear testing, temperature and moisture checksCook attributesPerform sensory evaluations of productTest and hold proceduresHold and release proceduresEntering data into a computerPreventative maintenance on FSQR equipmentMay teach, train, or coach others on work activities, methods and procedures.Ensure all stakeholders follow GMPs, good housekeeping and maintain plant policiesMaintaining a safe working environmentRequired Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipMust be 18 years or olderMust have at least 12 months experience in manufacturing or other high paced environmentsMust be able to understand, speak, read and write EnglishBasic math skillsDecision making / problem solving skillsComputer skills using Microsoft Office packageWork in a cold environmentAbility to climb ladders / stairs and stand / walk for long period of timePreferred Qualifications
2 years’ experience in manufacturing or other high paced environmentsPrevious food safety or quality experiencePlease note that this position does not include relocation reimbursement.
