Prospect Development Analyst

The Prospect Development Analyst contributes to building and strengthening the prospect pipeline by uncovering new opportunities, identifying patterns and trends, and providing research-based insights that help fundraisers prioritize their efforts. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Prospect Development team and the broader Philanthropy department, the Analyst ensures that high-quality, timely information is available to support strategic decision-making and donor engagement.

Job Description : Pipeline Development

Contribute to the prospect pipeline by identifying major gift prospects for fundraiser portfolios across the system. Support proactive prospecting initiatives tied to key fundraising initiatives.

Prospect Management & Portfolio Strategy

Assist with the preparation of portfolio review meetings and follow-up data entry. Assist with portfolio updates in the CRM requested by fundraisers (additions, removals, and stage updates). Support data audits and clean-up efforts to ensure consistency in portfolio and prospect tracking across the system.

Prospect Research

Conduct biographical, business, and financial research on individual prospects / donors, as well as corporations and foundations, using a variety of online databases and other public information as well as internal sources. Evaluate capacity, affinity, and philanthropic inclination to help inform solicitation strategy. Prepare detailed research materials including prospect profiles, board candidate bios, and event bios. Assist with maintaining wealth ratings. Ensure research data is accurate in CRM databases.

Data, Analysis, & Reporting

Run queries, exports and reports from the CRM to support prospect development functions. Help maintain accurate and consistent data on assigned prospects in CRM.

Other

Attend and participate in team, department, and organizational meetings as needed. Collaborate with colleagues across all Developments units to achieve the organization's goals. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements :

Bachelor's Degree required. 1-3 years' related work experience required. Experience with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint required. Must be extremely detail oriented. Exceptional writing and oral communication skills. Must be able to communicate in a highly professional manner. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to create effective collaborations among various levels of staff and faculty. Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in dealing with others and to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to work under pressure. Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize work and manage multiple and competing priorities while meeting deadlines. Demonstrated ability to think critically and analytically. Knowledge of current trends within philanthropy and healthcare. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Exceptional skills in organization and presentation. Possess the highest ethical standards to handle confidential and sensitive gift and donor information appropriately.

Pay Range : $66,560.00 USD - $87,360.00 USD The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
