Forklift Operator

This Forklift Operator position is available for an experienced applicant who enjoys working in a warehouse environment. Forklift Operators are an essential part of our team. This role is involved in all aspects of providing outstanding support to our Operations Department in the Lancaster Corporate Warehouse facility.

You are a Jay Group team member from day 1. This is a direct hire permanent position.

Schedule : Thursday - Sunday 6am to 4 : 30pm 4 / 10 hour days

Forklift Operator Job Responsibilities :

• Operate forklift equipment safely including, but not limited to : Reach trucks, Cherry / Order Pickers to move material from pallets, trays, racks or shelves.
• Loads vehicles / trailers by installing strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Unloads materials out of vehicles / trailers using equipment.
• The Forklift Operator will update WMS accurately on equipment and will use RF scanning equipment.
• Responsible for the safe operation of all equipment, including attending training, following prescribed safety regulations and maintaining appropriate safety inspection logs.
