Description :

Interventional Radiology RN Position

Position Overview

4x10 shift schedule with D / E / N rotating shifts

Floating assignment with holidays, weekends, on call / callback and charge duties per unit needs

Assignment duration : 13 or 17 weeks will be considered

Department Description

Fast-paced pre / post interventional radiology department in a level 1 Trauma center

Serves inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan

Work within a multidisciplinary team environment

Responsible for pre-procedural preparation of patients and post procedural recovery and overnight observation care

Experience with GI post procedural care is preferred but not required

Key Responsibilities

RN responsible for pre / post and 23hr care for IR patients

Care for patients boarding overnight pre or post procedure

Job Requirements

2 years' Registered IR Nursing experience (Two years' experience)

Telemetry Experience Required

New York RN license (ONLY)

Required Certifications

BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)

ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
