Descripción del trabajoProvide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk. Monitor access to the building by verifying identification and / or credentials of individuals entering the location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and direct them to appropriate contacts or locations within the building. Maintain logs of visitor and contractor activity at the front desk as required by site protocols. Observe the front desk area and surrounding lobby to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior. Communicate professionally and clearly with internal staff and local law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies. Support emergency response activities from the front desk position, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures when appropriate. CPR certification and / or First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Front Desk in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will play a vital role in welcoming visitors, managing access control, and supporting smooth day-to-day operations. You will deliver outstanding customer service, assist with badge procedures, and help to deter security-related incidents through your attentive presence. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment where teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach are valued every day.
