Data Scientist Contract

A company is looking for a Data Scientist (Contract).

Key Responsibilities

Build machine learning models for prescreen direct mail campaign targeting to impact customer acquisition and lending decisions

Perform rigorous model calibration to ensure predicted probabilities accurately reflect actual outcomes

Design, implement, and deploy innovative data science solutions to support data-driven prescreen strategies

Required Qualifications

4+ years of experience analyzing large datasets for marketing or risk problems

Advanced formal training in statistics (MS or PhD) in a quantitative field

Proven experience with model calibration techniques

Expert knowledge of Python / R and SQL for data manipulation and machine learning

Experience with AWS technical stack and distributed computing frameworks
