Sales Director

To direct and oversee all sales activities for the Resort and ensure that all activities and group bookings are focused to yield maximum revenue per room occupied. It is important that this individual be able to execute and effectively communicate strategies and tactics employed to all key stakeholders, including the sales team and Planning Committee members.

This position requires results-oriented interaction with a wide variety of people. It is forward looking, broad in scope, and requires a proactive mindset to get things done by harnessing all available resources, and seeking incremental resources where the anticipated ROI justifies such action. The position requires a sense of urgency, initiative and competitive drive to get things done by influencing others, delegating and building relationships. There are a wide variety of activities that allow for individual expression and freedom to take independent action. The position requires social poise, warmth and friendliness, as well as the ability to stimulate and motivate others in order to achieve the results necessary for success.
