Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Server to join our team, primarily supporting our Memory Care residents. This position is responsible for assisting in the preparation, plating, and delivery of meals while ensuring a pleasant and dignified dining experience for residents with cognitive impairments. The Server works closely with the culinary and care teams to uphold health, safety, and dietary standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as assembling trays, portioning food, and preparing beverages.
  
• Serve meals to Memory Care residents in a timely, respectful, and engaging manner.
  
• Ensure each resident receives the correct meal according to their dietary needs and preferences.
  
• Transport prepared meals from the main kitchen to the Memory Care dining area.
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas, including dishes, utensils, and carts.
  
• Set tables, clear dishes, and sanitize surfaces before and after meals.
  
• Observe and report changes in resident appetite or behavior to appropriate staff.
  
• Provide gentle prompts and assistance to residents as needed during meals.
  
• Uphold all food safety and sanitation regulations in accordance with local and state guidelines.
  
• Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  
• Previous experience in food service or working with seniors is a plus.
  
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including special diet guidelines.
  
• Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to serving individuals with memory loss.
  
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs. during a shift.
  
• Flexible availability, including some weekends and holidays.
