Location : Owosso, MI 48867 (Michigan nursing jobs)\n

Healthcare Setting : Med / Surg Telemetry Unit\n

Assignment Length : 13-week travel contract\n

Start Date : October 20, 2025\n

End Date : January 19, 2026\n

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)\n

Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed\n

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend\n

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1680-$1800\n

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) contract\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

Active Michigan RN license (required for Michigan healthcare jobs)\n

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg RN experience\n

Experience floating to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) required\n

Proficient in telemetry; able to read and interpret heart rhythms\n

Must pass dysrhythmia test prior to floor assignment\n

Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications\n

COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions allowed)\n

Submission of work history, current skills checklist (within 1 year), and two supervisory references with dates employed\n

\n\nMed / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities\n \n

Deliver high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation\n

Provide clinical support, direction, and guidance to patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel\n

Establish a compassionate environment by offering emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families\n

Promote patient independence through education and answering questions\n

Adhere to therapeutic standards and hospital policies to ensure quality of care\n

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to resolve patient problems and needs\n

Maintain continuity of care by documenting and communicating patient needs and progress\n

Utilize leadership skills to delegate, communicate, and evaluate team members\n

Recognize changes in patient status and provide appropriate clinical interventions\n

Participate in ongoing nursing education, staff meetings, and performance improvement initiatives\n

Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care in a Med / Surg Telemetry setting\n
