Responsibilities Work in the Cath Lab setting of a hospital Patient population includes cardiac and electrophysiology (EP) cases Procedures include PCI, Shockwave, CSI, Impella Insertion, and Balloon Pump Shifts are Monday to Friday with 5x8s (8a–4 : 30p) or 4x10s (8a–6p) Call required 1 to 2 weekends per month, including ability to respond to STEMIs within 30 minutes No floating to other units required Uses Epic and MAC Lab EMR systems; experience with either is beneficial Primary duties include circulating, monitoring, and assisting in a range of cardiac and EP procedures such as PCI and device management First-time travelers with relevant experience are welcome to apply Hospital-issued scrubs are provided Must reside within 30 minutes or less from the facility to respond to STEMI calls when on call Epic and MAC Lab EMR systems are used for documentation Free parking is available on site Modules and onboarding training must be completed pre-start May require participation in emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November) All requested time off must be declared at submission; approval depends on facility needs Requirements Active SC or compact RN license required and must be in hand prior to start At least 1 year of Cath Lab and electrophysiology (EP) experience required Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required Must be able to monitor, pace, burn, circulate, and assist with cardiac procedures listed Radiation badge required and must be provided by the agency Experience with cardiac equipment such as Impella and intra-aortic balloon pump required Applicants cannot have been employed in any capacity by this health system within the past year Must not reside within 60 miles of the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629335.
