Pay Information
$1,700 to $2,000 per day
About The Position
Job Responsibilities :
- Provide 24-hour on-call pediatric coverage, 7 days per month.
- Attend vaginal deliveries upon request and all scheduled / emergency C-sections.
- Perform newborn admissions, discharges, and pediatric inpatient care.
- Conduct required procedures such as circumcisions, lumbar punctures, newborn resuscitation, intubations, and UVC placement.
- Collaborate closely with OB / GYNs, anesthesiologists, respiratory therapists, and nursing staff.
- Coordinate patient transfers to higher-level facilities when necessary.
- Document all patient encounters accurately in the Meditech EMR system.
Qualifications :
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics (highly preferred).Active North Dakota medical license or IMLC (required).Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP (required).Clean malpractice history (required).Availability for the specified coverage dates and ongoing monthly shifts.Working Hours :
Schedule : 7 days per month, 24-hour call coverage.Call Type : In-house or remote (as approved by facility).Holiday Coverage : Optional, based on availability.Skills :
Proficiency in neonatal resuscitation, intubation, and circumcision procedures.Strong critical care and decision-making skills in pediatric and neonatal settings.Excellent collaboration and communication with multidisciplinary medical teams.Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.Compensation and Travel :
24-Hour Call Rate : $1,700Call-Back Hourly Rate : $225 / hour (after gratis hours)Travel : Airfare, standard lodging, and ground transportation covered per facility policy.Job Location :
