Our firm in Chesterfield, MO is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our growing team. The assistant is responsible for a variety of administrative and litigation tasks. They will work under the supervision of their assigned attorneys and will provide appropriate support to assigned cases.
Responsibilities :
- Provide administrative and legal support to a team of Litigation attorneys.
- Prepare and edit email correspondence, legal documents, and memos.
- Prepare and eFile legal documents in State & Federal courts.
- Prepare and finalize legal documents and papers, such as summons, subpoenas, Petitions / Complaints, removals, discovery, motions , etc.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating trial logistics.
- Prepare and document attorney billable time and reimbursable expenses.
- Assist in scheduling, meeting preparations, and managing calendars.
- Assist with other projects as needed.
