Overview

Join to apply for the Advertising Tutor role at Varsity Tutors, a Nerdy Company . The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects tutors with students for online Advertising tutoring nationwide. You’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make an impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

  • Tutor online Advertising topics and tailor lessons to individual students.
  • Set your own hours and work remotely using the Live Learning Platform.
  • Use the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions and save prep time.
  • Invoice for tutoring sessions; Varsity Tutors handles payments.

What We Look For In a Tutor

  • Strong communication skills and an engaging teaching style.
  • Expertise in Advertising and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
  • Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
  • Prior tutoring / teaching experience and graduate-level education preferred.

    • Compensation and Scheduling

  • Base contract rates start at $18 / hour, with potential to reach up to $40 / hour for ongoing relationships with the same student.
  • Get paid up to twice per week.
  • Set your own hours; tutor as much as you’d like.
  • Remote tutoring with no commuting.

    • Note : Varsity Tutors does not contract with tutors in certain states / territories. Please refer to official postings for current eligibility.
