Position Purpose The Director, Marketing serves as a strategic leader responsible for driving brand growth, market positioning, and customer engagement across all channels. This role leads the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies, oversees campaign performance, and ensures alignment with organizational goals. By leveraging data-driven insights, creative storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration, the Director of Marketing enhances brand awareness, supports revenue generation, and fosters a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within TEL.

Position Responsibilities Lead the development of comprehensive marketing strategies, approve campaign initiatives, and evaluate ROI across advertising channels.

Conduct market analysis to uncover new customer segments, assess product demand, and evaluate the effectiveness of current marketing efforts.

Perform market research, sales forecasting, and strategic planning to support brand and departmental profitability.

Collaborate with executives and sales teams to develop pricing strategies to maximize profits and market share while balancing customer satisfaction.

Conduct pricing research and analysis to ensure competitive offerings.

Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics.

Compose, develop, and evaluate video and marketing content for both internal and external purposes.

Manage all aspects of promotional activities, events and trade shows including actively participating and soliciting feedback from sales teams. Build an event strategy that enables prospect engagement and generates leads.

Negotiate contracts for services needed to execute a marketing strategy.

Facilitate productive feedback loops across the company, and collaborate with leadership to promote open, two-way communications.

Design and execute creative external communications and inbound marketing programs to align our growing organization around core business objectives and build our brand and culture.

Partner with our executive team and leaders across the company to shape and deliver effective brand development, messaging, and events.

Advocate for TEL’s culture, seeking opportunities to reinforce our desired culture in everything we do

Test and evolve lead nurturing tactics.

Continuously learn, share, and implement improvements in all processes and responsibilities as needed to enhance effectiveness of providing world class service and support.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Proven experience leading marketing teams and executing successful campaigns

Proficiency with marketing automation and CRM platforms, including HubSpot Marketing Hub and Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making capabilities

Metrics-driven mindset with a strong sense of creativity

Expertise in online marketing and social media strategy

Demonstrated success in developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies

Experience designing interactive applications and networking platforms

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in marketing analytics tools

Ability to build relationships and collaborate across all organizational levels, from executive leadership to frontline employees

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to create, manage, and monitor budgets effectively

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite

Solid understanding of business-to-business (B2B) marketing channels and processes

Effective leadership and team management abilities

Education And Experience Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required

8+ years of experience in communications including marketing automation, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Experience in B2B and / or B2C environments, preferably in a growth-oriented company.

Industry experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Finance preferred
