Cardiac Sonographer

Job Title : Echo Tech

Location : Lancaster, Ohio, 43130

Contract duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 4X10 -hours (Monday to Friday)(Thursday off)

Schedule : Days

Key Responsibilities :

• 2-D echo with M-mode
• Color flow and cardiac Doppler
• Stress echocardiography
• Transesophageal echocardiography
• Conduct cardiovascular diagnostic tests within licensure : EKGs, event / cardiac monitors, pulmonary function tests, Doppler studies, and stress testing.
• Record and document procedure data in patient charts and EMR; promptly notify physicians of urgent findings.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain cardiology equipment and accessories.
• Assist with patient transport, clerical tasks, supply inventory, and billing logs.
• Participate in monthly cardiovascular meetings, CQI initiatives, and Six Sigma quality improvement.
• Train, supervise, and precept students and new employees.
• Support patient rights and privacy in compliance with HIPAA.
• Perform CPR and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
