General Accounting ERP Task Implementation Lead

Abt Global is seeking an independent contractor to serve as the General Accounting ERP Task Implementation Lead to support the successful implementation of the Deltek ERP system. This individual will be responsible for designing and optimizing accounting processes, ensuring data integrity, and supporting cross-functional teams throughout the ERP implementation and transition. To be successful you will have strong systems knowledge, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement. This engagement is expected to last up to 12 months and be on an independent contractor agreement. As part of this engagement, you will :

• Develop and document accounting processes aligned with Deltek ERP functionality.
• Collaborate with IT, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of accounting workflows.
• Support data migration efforts, including validation and reconciliation of financial data.
• Identify and resolve accounting-related issues during ERP implementation.
• Assist in configuring Deltek modules to meet organizational accounting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls throughout the transition.
