Description :

Level II Trauma unit with 15 beds.

Staff includes intensivists, registered nurses, desk techs, respiratory therapists, dietary, and case management.

Day shift has intensivist, RN, desk tech, and RT.

Night shift has intensivist, RN, desk tech, and RT.

Patient ratios are 2 : 1.

Equipped for general CR monitoring, CRRT, TPT placements, and uses EMR - Meditech.

Typical procedures performed include IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented and willing to learn new skills.

This unit emphasizes training and development opportunities.
