Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Operating Room Circulator for an adult surgery unit with level 1 trauma experience required.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Adult Surgery department of a level 1 trauma hospital
  • Position is as a perioperative circulator in the operating room
  • Day shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week
  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating nursing care for surgical patients in the perioperative setting
  • Must organize and provide patient care according to surgery or procedure performed
  • No local candidates accepted; must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Teamwork, strong communication skills, and adherence to AORN standards expected

  • Active RN license from Oklahoma or an eNLC compact state required
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum of one year experience in an acute operating room environment
  • Level 1 trauma operating room experience required
  • Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
